PE Films

PE Films

PE refers to “Polyethylene,” one of the most widely used plastics in flexible packaging.

PE: Polyethylene includes LDPE, LLDPE, and HDPE, each with distinct properties in flexibility, strength, and moisture resistance. It is lightweight, chemically stable, and safe for food contact.

Film Extrusion Process: PE films are produced through blown or cast extrusion. In the blown process, molten PE is inflated into a thin tube and cooled, giving balanced mechanical strength. In the cast process, the film is formed on chilled rollers, providing uniform thickness and clarity.

Through these processes, PE film offers excellent sealability, puncture resistance, and moisture protection, making it a versatile material across packaging and industrial applications.
